Take the F**KING RISK!

1 min read

One thing I've learned over the years — there is no right or wrong, it's just perspective. Woh kehte hain na, mera 6 aapko 9 dikhega. There's no stupid idea. There's no "billion-dollar idea." There's just the idea you act on and the one you don't.

I had this little idea once of building an app, which I never built fully; someone else did, and it’s a billion-dollar company right now.

The point that I’m trying to make here is, TAKE THE F**KING RISK.

  • Post the content you've been sitting on.
  • Take the trip. You'll never have more time than right now — next year will also be "too busy."
  • Build the project that keeps showing up in your head at 2am. Someone with half your skills is building it right now.
  • Ask your crush out; the worst that will happen is you’ll end up as friends.

But hey, it’s better than nothing, right? You know where I am going with this. Take the RISK.

I don’t remember any regrets for taking the risk, so there’s nothing I’ll say/write about it, but I do remember the regrets of not taking the shot.

I once found out my crush had liked me back the whole time. Neither of us said anything. She's now happily dating this ugly f**ker — sorry, this handsome gentleman. We'll never know what could've been, because neither of us moved.

And the list of regrets goes on…

The worst part isn't the regrets. It's that five years from now, you'll probably be reading another post just like this one, nodding along, and still not doing it.

So, I want you to take this video/article as a reminder - that TAKE THE F**KING RISK.
